Yea, the same thing happened last year. The companys setup at ATA and show dealers there stuff but make the people that actually buy there products wait months later. Seems very stupid to me. If I had a bow company I would make shure that the people that buy my products get to see my products as soon as they are ready not hold them until after some show that no consumer get to go to anyway.

You have to decide whether you are operating throught eh dealer network or not. If you are, why would you cut them out of the loop? Why would you put stuff on the net, when you don't support internet sales? Why would you release the product before the buying season starts.
What POs me is that there are two buying seasons: Deer and 3D. I need to have the bow in my hand before xmas for 3D. Mathews just kisses off the whole 3D season, and yet that is a lot of the focus for their advertising. That is what doesn't make sense. Presumably they are just using 3D to say their bows are better, so they can sell them for the hunting season. I used to buy a new Mathews 3D bow, and hunting bow most years. I gave up, because new hinting bows don't mater, and their new 3D bows awere too late to make it into my rotation. And some of their top shooters still shoot the old bows, so why should I be the only one.

Ossage,
I know that I'll be shooting my Conquest2 with an Icon back-up again this year. I don't see anything earth shattering, must have in the new line-up this year. I was hoping for string dampeners on the new Conquest. I agree with you about hunting bows I use my first Ultramax.
Best d@#% huntin' bow ever!
Rick

I think the website update has less to do with internet sales and more to do with people like me. I dont have a bowtech dealer close and I am not driving 80 miles to just look at some, so I expect that I can look at there products online and decide my self if its worth the drive. Jan 1 it was 2003 and I was looking for a 2003 bow the only company that gave me that info was Hoyt so they got my money.

The BowTech web site will be done real soon. While we were at the ATA Show I was emailed the rough draft (if you want to call it that) of the new web site design for the Marketing Director to approve...It's a real nice design but that's all I can say...
