Thanks Pin, sounds like a 7 inch brace would be a good starting point for everyone. My Wife shoots her Tec 29 way better than anything she's had in 19 years. I believe it may have something to do with the let off setting I have set on her cam. It is set for less let off and it has a very short valley. Once in a while it will catch her creeping and it will pull her off her anchor, as does my Patriot with the I cam. I like it when it "tells me" to concentrate and sometimes I'll have to laugh at myself. She dosen't like it and sometimes says "doggoneit" or so! I simply tell her that the cam is forcing her to hold back tension which is making her more consistent. She shoots most the time as well as I do and that is great with the little 29 incher. Have a good week!

Kevin,

7+" of brace height and a 340 IBO. Could that DC Pat be calling your name?

WWAG-

LOL, you better not let her read this thread then, or she will buy a bow with longer ATA and deeper brace and crush you! Watch out! Seriously, it's nice to hear of her out shooting with you, unfortunately my wife can no longer do that with me, and it hurts. Treat her good!

Vic-

Merlin wouldn't like that very much, seeing as I am on their Factory Staff! And I actually prefer a longer ATA for everything except hunting,(Supernova, Max 3000) and my Hunter's Quest twin cam fills that hunting slot quite nicely. I can "play" however with whatever I like and do, and I do feel this is the best production bow Bowtech has produced thus far. Good shooting, Pinwheel 12
