I've got a request for anyone with the Patriot Dually. Will someone measure the distance between the lower sight mounting screw hole and the arrow rest mounting hole? I'd like to compair it with my '02 Pat. Thanks.

500FPS,

I surely appreciate the offer but no thanx. I sold one of my 2000 Mavs so I can afford a new 2003 bow and I am hoping it will be a Bowtech. Time will tell.

How was the recoil on the bow? Slingless with an open hand, is it jumping forward much?

And the &quot;feedin' frendzy&quot; continues....<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Jeff,

Some good comments. First thing that popped into my head....&quot;How does the back wall feel on the bow?&quot; Solid, pretty solid, almost solid, squishy? Compare it for me to one of the other bows we are both familiar with.

Second, you still thought it was noisy despite the &quot;hush kit&quot; and taking into consideration your draw length, draw weight and arrow weight? Hmm, that has me worried a bit...though considering the speed I would sort of expect it. I wonder what it is going to sound like without the hush kit?

You have me interested and I look forward to reading more of your comments.

Rangeball.
on mine with open hand no stab but I wont shoot without a sling.
The top of the bow tended to kick back a little once I put the stab on it was dead in the hand.

Looking forward to the &quot;Expanded&quot; report Jeff........<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> but your initial findings as well as the others sure are sounding pretty good.

I just wanted to jump in here somewhere (as good of a place as any I guess!?) and say that I've been following all the new BowTech posts (as well as the entire board) with interest at work, but my posting ability has been SEVERELY limited.......my hard drive at home is an official 'Crispy Critter'<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> and I'm in the process of getting the warranty work done to it.

I haven't received my Patriot DC yet either Phil, but I expect my little bundle of bird poop to land here soon as well.......I'm guessing my 30&quot; draw might cause a bit of a delay. I'm anxious to add my findings to the pot.

I also have a Pro40 Dually coming as well for 3D competition so when that day arrives I'll post my comments on it as well......hopefully my hard drive situation will be fixed by then.

Hope to get back in the mix very soon......until then say a prayer for my computer, it lived a short but full and meaningful life. Poor little guy. <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ausie-Guy, thanks for the update on the sight window specs, I'm sure a lot of us will be happy with the change. It dosen't sound like Kevin forgot about any of us when he was designing the new bows<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>'03 is going to be a great year for BowTech!

Rangeball,

I noticed no forward jump, barebow, only a slight buzz in the hand after the shot. Decked out it really just sits there. It has IMO a great feel to it at the shot.
