I gota heck of a deal on a 2005 Bowtech Allegiance last month.Coming from 2 Hoyts and a Browning, I assumed upon buying it it had an adjustable draw length since every bow I have owned always has. Well I now know that its not adjustable without changing the cams out, and it is obviously too long for me.The guy told me it was 29, which is what I thought my Hoyt was at, but it feels like 30 or better to me. The sticker is not on the lower limb, so how doI know what the draw length is without actually measuring it? The cams are E1s, if thisdiscloses any info about them.

You may be getting a good deal but you will likely crap your pants when you see what a new set of cams cost. I actualy have an 05 for sale in a 29 inch draw if your interested PM me and let me know.

how about you just swap cams with me and you have a 30 inch DL for sale?
haha. im making it work for this season then i'll be selling it also. right now i can't afford to nor do i have the time to buy a new one without unloading this one first and i leave for my tennessee hunt a week from today, then virginia opens up the following weekend. i can shoot it fairly well and group alright out to35/40 but every now and then i get a nice little slap on the forearm from trying to stretch it out.

yea but i made certain itsthe shortest it can possibly be. i was shooting no loop at first but was having some pinch issues and had to go back. i have the let off taken as low as it will go to shorten it as much as possible. its not all that bad to shoot lengthwise, but it is annoying having a $750 bow with what feels like absolutelyno let off! i was mainly asking the question so i can tell the next buyer theCORRECT info and so i can tell myself im not crazy and this DL is longer than 29 like i was told.

Yeah bowtech was weird with that model. Mine was a 29inch draw but with the adjustable draw stop it was more like 29.25 or a tad more at full let off and like 28.75 at 65% let off. My buddy had a 30inch draw and was only getting about 70% let off even though it was suppose to be 80%. He also was on his 3rd set of limbs when he sold it, they kept cracking on him.

There is a set on ebay right now for $50 but they are 28.5" on the Allegiance. I have a set of 29" cams but don't really want to sell them.

no im just saying for a bow that retails 750 new, i would like to have all my let off. i got her for 300. had i done my research and found the draw length wasn't adjustable, i would have flipped it on ebay immediately. instead i put my old bow up for sale to by all the new goodies to put on this one. then i get it all set up to find out its a 30. now im SOL for this season. owell. thanks for your help guys
