Default Whats wrong with my bow. help needed.

My dad sighted my bow in at 10yds., and it was pretty close shooting like 2" groups. I got it out, using a release, and it shot way low. so i shot fingers. it shot way high. whats wrong? is it me? help greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert and this could be wrong, but if I was you I'd just resight the bow in for you. If your dad was the one shooting and adjusting the pins then his anchor point is probably different. It could be a tunning issue too. You may want to paper tune it if you haven't already. If your going to use a release then use your release to sight in your bow, but if your going to stick with fingers then forget the release.

It's your anchor point, it shifts between fingers and release shooting as does the way the arrow leaves the bow. You need to have it set up for one or the other.

With the release you are probably way low because if you maintain the same anchor point you are moving the nock up. With your fingersit probably moves the nock down. Nock up tip goes down. nock down tip goes up.

Also, the bow needs to be sighted in for you. It's good that your dad got it ball parked but now it needs to be set-up for you either with the release or with fingers and stick with one ofthe 2.
