In my experience, muzzy's are notorious for there furrells bending just a tad. Not real noticable unless you spin them but boy do they fly like crap.

I'm with passthru79 but will take it a step further. I've shot Muzzys for years because they are deer killers. With that said, I've found many fresh from the pack heads that will never pass a spin test regardless of what arrow they are screwed to. Those never get shot because I know going in that they won't fly right. Typically one or two out of the pack won't be "right". It's something I've just accepted.

[/align]In my experience, Muzzy heads (90gr or 100gr) that pass the spin test will shoot fine with 4" or 5" vanes fletched straight offset or helical, out of a decently tuned rig.

You can straighten the ferrule by using a drill press. Chuck the ferrel in the drill press with the blades out and the tip on snug. Turn by hand to find the "high spot" and tap gently on the ferrule with a wooden tool like a screw driver handle. Keep at it until it spins true.

Seems like an awful lot of work when you can go buy a pack of G5 strykers that come spin tested and have steel furrels that are not very likely to bend.
