i use the platinum glue and have had no problems so far with feathers or vanes or wraps but used some fletch tite (regular) a year ago and had alot of problems even though previous years had none just think maybe bad batch or may be too much glue coming out or something like that.

Agreed. Goat Tuff is some really strong stuff. I've been using it lately, but it's a nightmare to strip off when I need to refletch.

I've used Goat Tuff and had good luck with it.

I also have used Loc-Tite gel from Wal - Mart and have been really pleased with it also.

Another vote for Goat Tuff... all I use on everything from feathers on paint, to blazers on wraps to deep cuts under a fingernail... works on everything.

I know that you use feathers. You really should try the bohning fletch tape. I use it for my feathers and it works great! I had to pull an arrow through one of my fieldpoint targets and the feathers stayed on. When it comes time to strip them off it is very easy and clean.

I concur. I use fletch tape for all my aluminums and 5" bar feathers. Didn't know it would work well for carbons.

Wonder if it will work with regular plactic vanes and carbons?

Fletch tape works great on carbons and arrow wraps. Doesn't work at all with vanes though. Feathers only.

I'm with ArthurP I use whatever gel type super glue I can get at Wal-Mart usually Gorilla Glue because it has a narrow tip that is perfect for my quickspin speed hunters. I also do wrap my own arrows so it bonds VERY well to the wraps I use.

I am now using Easton glue. I tried Martin Fast Fletch glue and all the vanes would fly off after a few shots. I dont recomend Martins glue. I could have just gotton a bad bottle but I still will not use it.
