Bow Noise Help
Hello- I am shooting a fairly old bowand it makes a horrible noise when i draw if the riser gets moist, wet or damp. It would sure end any good opportunity. I was wondering if anyone could provide some advice for what I could do to get rid of the noise whether it be cleaning, lubricants, etc..
I can't afford a new bow so I have to stick with this one. It shoots real well for me minus the noise. Any help is appreciated.

RE: Bow Noise Help
Take it to a Pro shop and have them go over it.
It will probably need a new string and cable ( contact gibblet here on the forum for those)and probably some grease in the axles/ limb pockets.
Or it could also be a crack in the riser or limbs so take it to a Pro shop.

By saying it makes the noise when it gets wet brings back some memories.
Try cleaning your cable rod with alsohol and then replace the slide with one made of teflon. I think you're experiencing cable slide chatter.
