Default small crack in limb

I have a 2006 martin orion and it appears to have a very small crack at the top of the upper limb. will this be anything to worry about or will it get me through this season?

No, a small crack mean "Here comes a bigger crack". Then a broken limb and maybe a busted head.. Don't shoot it again, get a new limb.

Any crack in any Bow limb needs attention. Take it to your dealer or contact Martin Archery.

Thanks for the replys. Im really not sure if its a crack or just a scratch because you have to hold it just right in the light in order to see it. What would be the best way to tell which it is?

Try to scratch it against the crack.. Like your trying to peel off paint. If your fingernail digs into it, you've got yourself a crack... But I'd get a second opinion. Live to shoot another day.

get it looked at and taken care of as soon as possible. hunting is fun but a dangerous bow is not something to mess with.

I agree with everyone else. I'd get it checked out now and not take the risk. You could be setting yourself up for a bigger disaster.

I took the bow to the great outdoors yesterday and they looked at it through their magnifying glass and said it only appeared to be a scratch in the laminate...They said it is pretty common and nothing to worry about.

I recommend getting yourself one of those lighted magnifying glasses. There the ticket. I use it for everything. Got mine for 25 bucks. Fly fishing departments have some nice one's.
