Switched to helical and now problems

RE: Switched to helical and now problems
I have to get batteries for digital and will post them up tomorrow.
But i did go ahead with the re-calc of the FOC. Please correct me if i am wrong here.
(decimal of a foot in parentheses)
My total length of arrow: 2'-3 13/16" (2.3177)
My arrow balance point: 11 9/16" (.9635)
[(.9635 / 2.3177) - .5] x 100 = 8.4% FOC
I def. seeand pointed out earlier by straightarrow i need to go to a heavier tip. But since my arrow is equipped right now with a field tip, shouldnt it shoot ok? (I am shooting field tips right now)
calculation method is from this link here:
http://www.bowsite.com/bowsite/features/practical_bowhunter/broadheadflight/index.html
For spine:
Arrow length as said above. Measurement from arrow cut to where string goes against the knock: 27 13/16"
Blackhawk vapor 4000 pro series
85 Grain Tip.
I really appreciate all the hlep given so far. Learning a lot

The answer is simple. Re-tune your bow. I was not necessarily tuned correctly before. Good groups can be obtained from an out-of-tune bow in some situations when using a field tip. You made changes and now you need to re-tune in the field. Make double sure the fletching is not hitting anything, put on the heavier tip, and then tune. You should end up with a good shooting arrow if you do everything correctly.
I can get a good grouping arrow without fletching of any kind. You can do the same if the bow and the arrows are tuned corrrectly.
