fletching advice needed...
OK guy's here it is. If you could give me a list of what "YOU" suggest for me to buy to fletch my bare shafts with, what type of jig, clamp etc... I will be fletching cross-bow bolts (ten-point) and ICS Hunter 400 shafts both in carbon, and would like to try maybe either offset or helical, and straight, as I am currently using straight on both. O by the way I will be using blazers for the ICS HUnters and 4" vanes for the bolts but also may try some blazers for the bolts... Thanks for any input...

The bitzenburger you can fletch both and as far as I know the Jo-Jan as well, but you have to buy the nock RECIEVER for that jig. I think that the one for the bitz is like 23.00. The nock reciever is the part that holds the arrow's nock while it is being fletched, and turns the shaft to the next fletching location. On regular jigs they have a V type receiver that accepts the valley of the nock. But, oncrossbow bolts there is no valley, so you have to buy the appropriate reciever that holds the shaft.

Thanks Redneck (LOL) I was going with the Bitz but couldnt find everything I need (in a rush, am in need of one) so I went with the Grayling Rt. Helical jig, a straight clamp, jig bolt adapter, bohning fletch tight platinum glue (2 pack), 300 blazers, and 100 4" vanes, bohning vane stripping tool, and some Onestringer wraps... Cant wait to get it and try it out.....
