I have an infinity arrow rest that i believe GKF just reversed and made into a drop away. The spring that held the prongs up now pulls it down. The problem has always been thatthe springvibrated after every shot. Tolerences between the prong shaft and the housing are sloppy as well. High dollar rest, don't get me wrong, just not as good as it should have been.
My fix's have been many all involving shims of some kind. I finaly came up with a liquid one that turns to a solid. Candle wax. Opened the rest up, dripped in the wax, closed it up and shot it. Smooth and quiet.![Big Grin](https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Before you adapt this approach I must say I have not tried it in the cold yet. I have thought of clearing out some freezer space, but haven't. I wouldn't be suprised if this would also work in noisie limb pockets or anywhere were things need to be tighter but moveable
The addition of the new sims pad has also helped. I didn't try wax on the shefl. Could work if it would stay.
