I answered part of your question on the 'Never owned a bow like this' thread. For hunting size aperture, the bigger the better, IMO.
What keeps the peep aligned is having it indexed in the string so that it rotates square to your eye at full draw, every time. Having a good quality string is a big help in that regard.

yep, no more rotating, no more rubber tubing tied to your string.
The best way is to check it by looking through before you install it, mine is a little bigger than the diameter of the sight whenI look through it, this helps a bit like a level.
So, Australia then, is it really great for hunting ?
How about foreigners, can they come and join ?
