Sideways, thanks for trying to help but that is not the problem i had with building my own! The problem I had is the "H"nock is too small for the diameter of the bobber light that needs to be installed. It requires a lot of drilling and reaming of the nock out which i dont find very safe and besides that it is so tight once u do get it in the arrow that it is just not very durable! Thanks for trying to help though! I am just going to bite the bullet and spend $11 dollars a piece for one and get the tracer nocks they have made them to fit the "H" nock now and i really like their flash feature now!

Good lookin dog bigdaddycain I raise black and tans. Good blood dogs for those sometimes hard to find deer too. But back to the homeade lighted nocks, instead of cutting another nock for inside the arrow I use wooden dowls availible at Walmart and have never had any issues with irregular flight on my arrows.
