Can anyone suggest a carbon arrow and broadhead(grains) that will give me a total weight of around 400 grains, and have a good foc? I shoot a 30 inch shaft, hard cam, release, and shoot between 65 to 67 pounds. I like to stay as close to 6 grains per pound of draw weight as possible, for guiet shooting and speed. I also prefer to shoot vanes over feathers. Tell me what components you would use,(vanes,nocks,ect.). Let me know if I need to provide more info. Thanks to you all, and happy holidays.

I shoot Gold Tip 5575 gt's my arrows are 26 1/2" long with 3x5" vains and 100 gr tips they weight 375 grains total so if you get them at 30" ones you should be in the ball park.
Or you could go to the 7595 xt's for a little stiffer spine.

Epsilon's .... very good arrows. and it will get you around 400 with 125 heads.

BHunter32, go to www.bowjackson.com click on FOC&Weight pick what brand shaft you would like to shoot then pick components. Many choices to choose from.

I sent you a small program I made some time ago and that should help you in selecting the correct shaft. My arrows are Beman Hunters 400 @27.25&quot; and shoot a Spitfire broadhead with 4&quot; AAE vanes. My poundage is 62# and I shoot a Cybertec with CC+ cams. That arrow is awsome with my set up.. Also, dont forget I am shooting a release, are you ?
This arrow is shooting 286 fps but I think it will be just under 400 gr. with your extra 3&quot; it should be over 400 for you.

I went into the jacksons website, and found an arrow that fits what I am looking for. It is a carbon express 300 cx, and with the components that I selected, it will give me a finished arrow weight of 414 grains using a 125 grain broadhead, and an foc of 11.4 percent. I can lose just a few grains by using duravanes which are suppose to be a little lighter than the easton diamond vanes according to the tech info on their website, and a lighter nock will get me closer to the 400 grains I wanted and a little higher foc to boot. Is this a good shaft to use, and will 4 inch fletching control this arrow if it is fletched at 4 degrees with a 125 grain head? Also will it still be spined right for my set up with the info I provided? I have always used 100 grain muzzy's, and was wondering how the heavier 125 grain 3 blade will shoot. I just ran your specs through 'The Archery Program' and show the cx300 as pretty weak @ 30&quot; 125grain and 65-67 pounds. I did a find arrow match and the best I can find for 30&quot; and 100 grain to keep you over 400 grains is the Beman ICS Hawk 340. With 4&quot; vanes and 100 grains up front you will have a finished arrow weight of 416 grains @ 30&quot;.
