Default limb saver drop away question

I just got a new guardian and the thing shoots great. The problem is that I can't get my drop away rest to rise smoothly. It stays flat against the riser until I'm almost at full draw and then pops straight up. This causes my arrow to bounce and make noise sometimes falling off the rest. Does anyone else have this issue or any way I can stop it from happening?

Thanks !! I'll give it a shot. I thought that may fix it but I wanted to hear what others suggested before I went messing with it.

Yeah, that suggestion should do the trick. Your rest should come up smoothly as you draw, and then the cord should be tight when at full draw, but not so tight that it causes a flex in the down cable. You'll find the happy medium though. The way I normally do it is I separate the cable, put the cord through it, draw the bow, and that will get you realy close to where ti needs to be. The cables will be tight enough to raise the rest, but the cord will slide through as well giving you almost the prefect length of rope.

Thanks for the info guys. I went to the proshop last night and we messed with it for 45 minutes. We moved the string 10 ways to sunday and it still sprang up. I even opened my string loop to totally eliminate knock pinch and STILL couldn't get it to stop. We reduced it but if I didn't draw the bow rediculously slow the arrow would pop off. All of the techs said they never noticed it before but then again they didn't have one on a guardian yet either so it may have been the combo. I finally said screw it and had them put on a drop zone and the thing worked like a charm. Thanks again for the suggestions.
