Make sure the guy fletching your arrows knows what he is doing. Most of the fletches now adays say you dont need to wipe them off before glueing, but I wipe everything down with alchohal, wraps, fletches, shaft. Another trick is make sure he is using enough glue, and it doesnt hurt to put a little extra one and just dab the fletch on a paper towel to remove excess before attaching.
Excellent, also it doesn't hurt to scuff the vane where you put the glue. I use some 200 grit sand paper. If you do like the above you won't have a problem. I am sure you don't have a fletching jig or you would be doing them yourself. Go over the above with your friend.
Yep. I do what the Rev does. A little bit of 200 on the bottom of the vane...bit o' goat tuff....nay a problem. I have, in fact had more problems with the wrap (or even the paint cresting) ripping free from the arrow...before the vane will rip free from the wrap or crest....they ain't goin' no where!

wait a day or two after you have them refletched by someone else or do them yourself.
