I just had a Metapeep put on, and noticed the string loop is a little crooked now,no big deal, but the mark on my idlerwheel isn't lined up with the limbs anymore. Could the installation of the peep have twisted the string enoughto move it, or is creeping setting in?
Thanks, SH31

An idler wheel spins freely. I don't know how a mark on it, could correspond to anything. In addition, most string loops spin a bit on occassion. Whoever installed the peep, may have purposely moved the loop to help align the peep when the bow is drawn.
The way to know if your string has crept, is to take very careful, precise measurements of brace height, ATA and nock to cam distance when your bow is perfectly tuned. A quick measurement at any time will tell you if the string has crept.

They probably pressed the bow when they installed the peep and the idler rotated in the process. Like straightarrow said, I can't comprehend a mark on an idler being useful for anything, it's the cam end you want to watch. Has the brace height changed at all? How about the axle to axle?

You guys are right. I don't know why I even marked the wheel, I must have misinterpreted something I read. The cam is marked correctly. This is why I come here as a newb! Thanks guys!
