Default QAP fleching clearance

I have a Vectrix Xl with the qap ultra pro drop away and I am getting fleching contact on the bottom of the prongs. The pro shop I got it from says I have to shoot my arrows with the fleching up but I've always shot it with the fleching down on my last rest (drop zone)so i could put the side vane in the corner of my mouth is the pro shop right or do they just not know how to set it up correctly?

A prong style rest requires the arrow be shot the way they're telling you so that the single vane on the bottom will shoot through the middle of the prongs. Put a kisser button on it for your reference.

talone I also had fletching contact both ways. cock vane down and up. With cock vane down I hit the launcher. With cock vane up I hit the containment bar on top. My only fix was taking the bar off. Also you'll notice when the launcher is laying down there is a grove that sticks up. I was getting contact there as well. I took the launcher off and filed it down. Now the problem is solved. The funny thing is I never had noticable contact on my justice or liberty but when I put it on the pantera I started having these problems.

I shoot the Ultra rest on my Trykon.
I shoot cock vane UP w/ no contact at all.
if you don't have the Pro lock down model ,try what I did.
I put doubled fleece on the shelf to keep it from bouncing up.
It did before on the metal shelf and hit the vanes occasionally.

I do have the lockdown I'm getting contact when the launcher is down there are marks running between the prongs along the length on the launcher I guess I'll have to get used to shooting vane up.

I tried both ways and can't shoot vane down. I got the same result as you. Vane up works fine..go ahead. As long as you don't get contact, I'm of the opinion it doesn't matter whatyour vane orientation is.
