RE: super glue for fletching glue?
I've been using the super glue gel for a LONG while now and never had any adverse effects from it. The buety is I can have the wife pick it up when she is grocery shopping .
The regular super glue will leave a white haze area where it dries if you don't wipethe excess off soon enough.

It's a pain getting it off, but then again don't smack them and there good for the life of the shaft.

There is nothing wrong with using super gule.
There are so many diffrent ones on the market, it would be impossible to tell the difference. AAE is one manufacturer that has been promoting it for years.
Reason you get white and rainbow residue is too much adhesive. When you use super glue, a little is too much.

Whew was I scared for a second...... all of a sudden I found out that I have about 5 dozen warped Gold Tips!!!! That was a new one on me!!
I used the Goat Tuff for a few years with really good luck. But after throwing away my 4th or 5th 1/2 full bottle because it was dried up, Idecided to try the Loc Tite super glue as mentioned here by several guys, after seeing Jay Gregory use it on " The Wild Outdoors", and have been using it ever since. I also havebecome a fan of the jel. It really works well and I have never had it dry up in the bottle . And it is a whole bunch cheaper than the glues sold by the archery companies.
