when setting up the jig first set a vane in the clamp where you want the vane to seat on the arrow.
2: place arrow into jig and loosen magnet clamp retaining screws just enough you can move the clamp magnet.
3lace the clamp with vane installed on the jig the center of the vane must be straddling the top center of the arrow otherwise you will not getmuch surface contact and will get a poor bond.
once you attain satisfactory location of the vane retighten clamp mag screws then do a test fletch to make sure you have every thing in line like it needs to be, you may need to make minor adjustments make a couple of testruns to make sure everything is aligned properly this way you dont screw up on your new arrows.
