Default Four Vanes??

I just got a bitzenburger fletcher, and i think i got the hang of it. It has
some settings on it for putting four vanes on the arrow. Just wondering if there is any advantage for disadvantage for using this setup. Using a drop away rest i dont think clearance would be an issue. But yea, just wondering your thoughts on this.

Default RE: Four Vanes??

I used to use a 4 vane configuration with the tiny duravanes, I was able to gain a little bit more spin for more down range stabelization,4 vane config is good with tiny fletchings but I would not recomend 4 config with 3",4" or 5"feathers because they would just slow the arrow down a lot faster rate thus loosing KE faster.
