What is your draw length?
What is the brace height on the bow?
What speed are your arrows?

I've shot the qad with the optional launcher with blazer vanes at 330fps, no clearance problems. Most likely a timing issue.

jsaker, I would agree that you have a timing/setup issue. If you had a really short drawlength, it may cause a problem with the rest falling away quickly enough but you shouldn't have any problems with a 30" draw. Make sure that the cable is pulling the rest up during the last inch of your draw cycle.

I followed the setup instructions to the letter--will the cord on the QAD stretch?

I had clearance problems with mine until I e-mailed the company and they sent me a detailed PDF file of instructions on setup. The package instructions don't cut it. I Followed those instructions and have complete clearance now. I'm shooting a bowtech tech 29 at 70 lbs at 27 draw. I shot the best buck of my life with this thing. Now I just draw and not worry about anything falling off. Not to say others wouldn't do the same thing, but I'm very satisfied with this rest.

Mine has performed flawless and I wont even consider another rest now. However if your shooting a larger diameter arrow and you have mole skin or felt on your launcher and the bar you may get fletch contact with the bar across the top. When i switched from carbons to 2314's i had to take the felt off for my quickspins to avoid contact. And i recomend a lot of tension on this rest and to set it pretty tight on the cable when first setting it up considering that it does have a cocking mechanism which causes it to drop slower than some. If you have a bow with a longer brace height and and your draw length is on the short side i suggest tightening the rope so tight thats its almost hard to even move with your fingers and then draw the bow back and continue. I had to do this when i had my justice for best performance.
