I guess that I am the only one here that has one, or has even shot one for that matter since nobody else has replied.

I am very pleased with the new cam design. The Cam and a half is as quiet and vibration free as the Versacam of last year....with just as solid of a backwall. It also has level and straight nock travel provided both cams are timed correctly....which is easily monitored via the timing marks on both cams.

The Cam and a half is also equivalent, at least, to the Command cams in terms of the smooth draw cycle and overall speed.

The adjustability of the cam's draw length is also a very nice feature.

Get serious, get a Darton. Sorry Frank, I had to say it.

I have not shot the new Hoyts, but if it draws and shoots as smoothly as my Darton, I see no reason why it would not be great.

Last night I shot a new 2003 cybertec and a 2002 magnatech. The new one felt mcuh better and vibration free. Im no expert but I could tell quite a difference. The 2002 didn't have the limb savers but the new one did. Don't know how much difference that made. $575 for the new one and $300 for the older one. Don't get me wrong, both were brand new, just different years.

reylamb, you took the words out of my mouth. I wonder why Hoyt has alledgedly agreed to pay Darton royalties on the use of their "innovative" design.

You could always just go with Cam.5 to save yourself some typing...
