RE: 2007 Bowtech Bows now online
I dont know. I will have to shoot one, that is for sure, but I am not sure that I like the looks, or the idea behind it.
I am not bow expert by any means, but doesnt it seem like (and please, please, please correct me if I am wrong) someone else would have jumped on this. I mean, the concept is pretty simple, but why was Bowtech the first to jump on it?
Anyway, looks are like 1% of the equation, if those things chuck an arrow as well as Bowtech claims they do, then it should be interesting.
Personally, I want to do a side by side between thea new Hoyt Vetrix and a new Bowtech.

Oh, I totally agree. They are freakish looking things. But I understand most of the concept. The only thing I don't understand is why it has to pivot where the pins are in the riser. That kind of scares me a little to tell you the truth. And, wouldn't you think that maybe those pivots will eventually vibrate?
I hope I'm wrong. I surely can't wait to get my hands on one to shoot. But, as of now, I have my eye on a new Allegiance.

From reading on their updated site, it says that the new riser design has 1 1/2 inches of deflex and the risers are forged. That is great performance from a bow with that much deflex geometry, which is more than I can remember being on any bow!

I have tried it with 3 browsers ( Mozilla, Netscape and IE ) and I keep getting a page not available when I click on the 2007 catalog thumbnail. This teasing is driving me nuts.
