Looks like I procrastinated too long as I just got off the phone with Diamond and there out of Hornets until next year. He said they had some DOA's, undertakers and stingers, but no hornets. He also said the next ones produced would be 2003 models. I asked if the price was going to go up and he said "you'd have to talk with one of them to find that out"
Oh well, looks like I get to wait for the 2003's and see what all the manufacturers have to offer.
If I could get a pearson diamondback with an ibo of 320 I'd be set!!

A paltry 302. I know 302 is fast, but by the time I take it to 29", add a peep and a string loop and such I'll wind up in the 280's if I'm lucky. I want to start with a higher IBO than the normal 300 all the manufacturers seem to have gotton stuck on.
It's kindof like the MPG of a pickup truck. We all know the big three can do a lot better than 17 mpg on a gas powered half ton. But they don't seem to want to sell it to us.
