This is the Winn Free Flight loop hook model. It is designed specifically for string loops. It's really easy to hook on the loop because it's an open hook. The Winn Free Flight is the best hunting release there is IMO.

The other great thing about this release is that the head is so short on it. This means you don't have to sacrifice draw length when shooting a string loop.

I can tell youthis, you shouldavoid using the "CAMO" string for your loop. For some reason it is a smaller diameter cord and will slip through the jaws of some caliper releases.
Also, than that is not a quality release. The heads on a release should not be spreading to allow anything to slip through it.

I use a Tru-Fire Hurricane, and I love it. Has been very reliable.

Tru-ball short and sweet is the way to go because when you add a loop you change your draw legnth. The short and sweet is designed to offset this by moving the trigger forward thus keeping everything the same as it was before adding the loop.I reccomend the buckle type over the velcro type.

I've been very happy with by Winn Loop Hook glove. The hook is close to the trigger, so you get maximum power stroke. (Many other releases have the jaws or hook way forward of the trigger, which will cost you some arrow speed.)
