Then again, last year's bow worked just fine on a doe I stalked...

Or, who knows, this year's hunting bow may still rest inside a stave such as this, patiently waiting to be crafted into a formidableweapon...

Gibblet & Rickjames, both of you mention the quietness of the rest. Is this both during the draw & during the shot?

I hate to high-jack, great looking bows again everyone.

Gibblet, time for one of those fancygrips like Rick's XT is wearing.

So Rob, how do you decide who gets to play?
Very quiet for both it seems to me. I can hear it when I am inside however its no louder than any other rest I have had including the dropzone.

RIck James where did you get that grip from. I like the looks of it and the fact that it looks a lot slimmer than the stock Mathews grip that I have on my Outback. I have been wanting to do something with that grip for a while and just haven't yet.

Mine is a '05 Diamond Victory with Cobra Diamondback dropaway rest, Montana Black Gold Dusk Devil II sight, Alpine Pro-Flex stabilizer, Alpine Soft-loc 5 arrow quiver, and STS. I'll be shooting Easton Axis 340s with 100gr 3 blade Muzzy's or I may try 100gr Slick Tricks this year. The bow is 65# and 29" draw.

My wife's bow is a '03 Alpine Impact X-treme with a Trap Door rest, TR Nitro 3 pin sight, Vibra-check stabilizer, and an Alpine Soft-loc 5 arrow quiver. The bow is at 40lbs and 25" draw. She will shoot Easton Epic 400s with 100gr 3 blade Muzzy's if she decides to hunt. This is also my back up bow. The draw length is very adjustable and I would turn it up to 50lbs and retune. I hope I won't need it.
