Ditto that, and here's proof.

The Thunderheads you have been shooting are very good. No real reason to change. If you do want to experiment though, there are many very good ones out there. I am using 100gr. Slick Trick mags, and will continue for a while. The new Slick Tricks are much sharper than earlier versions, and fly as well or better than any fixed heads out there.

You have to use what you like and are use too. The thunderheads are Great and i have used them... Love them... But 2 years back i tried a G5 Montec.. when i was on a hunting trip.. and Haven't changed brand since. I actually moved to athe tekan II from a fixed blade and love them even more.. I have heard some problems about not opening.. but i never had it happen with dozens of shots taken with them on target and deer. If you'd like a change.. try the G5 company.. you can't go wrong.

There's so much competition to make the "best" broadhead out rt. now that I think it would be tough to buy a lousy one. The companies know how much we archer's research these things and now that our season's (deer) are coming to an end it might be a good time to do some more research. A good starting point would be broadheadtests.com. You'll find a review of almost every broadhead made and learn a lot in the process.
5shot runs the site and he does his homework. Check it out before you make a decision. It's the best 25 bucks you'll ever spend.

I always shot muzzy 3-blade without any problems inside of 30 yards. This year I have transported into the 21st century with my new bow, a Mathews Drenalin. After much research, I am trying out the Magnus Stinger 100 grain 4 blade head. I also was going to try the Montec, but I have heard the head whistles pretty loud. Anyone out there hear the same?
