Pretty much anything will work. Personally, I use Pine Ridge. Adhesion is so good w/ wraps even Fletch Tite works well...

I used AAE SpeedSet. I think it was the cheap stuff. I havent had a vane come loose at all, but I use a wrap, too, and I think elmers glue would hold with a wrap. [8D]

using with a wrap?

Just go to Home Depot or similar and you can get a 10 pack of generic super glue/gel super glue for about $4 or a 3 pack for maybe $1.99, instead of paying $5 for one tube of instant "fletching" glue. (same thing, different name)

Another vote for AAE fast set gel. Works great on all fletching.

The AAEFast Set gel works great for me with feathers. I can fletch feathers as fast as vanes with it. If I get good contact all along the feather it only takes 5 to 10 seconds to reach the point where I can remove the clamp and move on. With Platinum and feathers, I find that I have to wait at least 15 minutes.

However, I don't have the dexterity to use it or other superglues with vanes. I end up making a mess. That's just me. Others can do a much better job. The fletchtite Platinum works much better for me with vanes. I have the time to get everything in place and it only takes a couple of minutes to set upenough toremove the clamp.
