limb question help plz
I have a Darton scout bow from 11 years ago I got it out to let my wife try it and I noticed that my bottom limb was splitting. The split starts in the v and goes back a few inches it is not big or deep. If you look in the v the split is only 1/3 the way down. The bow only has a max of 40 pounds and it was left for 11 years maxed out in my closet I think that is what causes it to split. My question, is there anyway to fix the limb to where it would be safe to shot. This is my first bow and it means a lot to me. Any help will be greatly appreciated

RE: limb question help plz
Only way to fix it is to replace the limb. You may check your local shop, contact Darton directly, or you may get lucky on ebay.
Sorry. I wish there was.
The photo is so blurry I can't see it, but the answer, unfortunately, remains the same.

That's a common place for a solid limb to split, hence part of the reason for the split limb design. She's done for unless you can find another set of limbs but they usually cost more than the bow is worth.
