Default RE: Blazer vanes falling off

The bow shop finally found the problem.Since the blazer is a shorter vane thannormal, the fletch clamp was rocking slightly forwardcausing a bad bond on the tail end of some of thevanes.

Now when they fletch using blazers, they put a second blazer in the front of the clampto keep the clamp from rocking forward. Thisassures the entire length ofthe vane is bonded to the shaft.

Hopefully this is useful information to someone out there.

Just tried some of duravanes glue. We have a winner. Takes about 15 sec. per vane. Blown through the target and they are still on. Kind of makes me wonder what taking them off might belike.
