On new Bisquits the bottom black fibers are stiffer and are there to hold your arrow up . The brown fibers are lighter and thinner so vanes have less ressistance . Therefore cock vain must be up , not down . You do not want vanes going through the bottom black part of a new Bisquit.
I put a dab of supper glue on all the front tips of my vanes so Bisquit cant take them off, and it works great
