This montec has been through 7 deer, 3 hogs, and a coyote in the last3 years. Put a stone toit after each shot, and back in the quiver it goes.

MUZZY BUT HOGS ARE NOT CAST IRON BLOCKS. SO THIS TEST WOULD BE INCORRECT!

I decided to try the 3 blade muzzys a few years ago after reading all the raves about them on here. I shoot the 125 gr heads because I like the extra FOC. I get great BH groups and excellent results from my muzzys and the cost at Dick's just before each season is about $25 for a 6 pack and that beats any other good BH.

Montec all the way! Just started bowhunting two years ago. Killed one muley and a cow elk. Both with the montec, and plan to use the same broadhead this year. I say stick with what works, and when it doesn't change.

It's simple, they are both great broadheads in their own regard. I shot the Muzzy 100's for years but just this year I have switched to the Montec 100's and so far I love them, can't wait to hunt with them.
To me I like the "cut on contact" thing and they also fit on my Axis arrows better..

I agree with Cougar Mag!I cannot support any manufacturer who would promote or support the World Hunting Association.

Hunting is not competitive and never should be. It's a sport that enjoys pure cooperation from all those who are true hunters. I don't think there was ever a time hunting that I thought I needed to bag a bigger deer or kill morethen any of my hunting companions.

I personally will not do business with any manufacturer who would support this (explitive) organization or any organization like it.

So go Muzzy or stay home!
