muzzy vs montec

RE: muzzy vs montec
Hogs are arguably one of the toughest animals to kill and have some of the hardest and toughestshoulders.
A Muzzy 125 blew up when I shot it into a concrete block and the montec only dulled the tip and bent slightly. The montec stayed together 100%.
I wasn't going to suggest other heads but since the Wac-em was mentioned my vote is for the slick trick. Toughest and strongest broadhead made.

I have also seen Muzzy's blow up.. I used them for the last two years, and after shooting a doe last year with them and having one of the blades curl right over from hitting bone, i dont think i'll be using them anymore.. I used to shoot Thunderheads and never had that problem, probably due to the extra thickness of the blades. So as to what i'm gonna shoot this year, I dont know yet...

I have shot Muzzy's in the past but I am very impressed with everyones response on the Montecs I have yet to here one negative thing regarding these broadheads. I am shooting the new strikers and the 3 blade montec this year. I am anxious to see what they do to a wyoming antelope this september.[8D] that is a tough decision good luck.

Barrie rocky mountain Ti 100 are hog killers. And if they can take down a 400 boar hog through both shoulder guard plate then a deer is as good as gone.
Recently I have tried razorcaps 100 and I'm totally impressed on how they fly and penetrate. Wicked cutting power.

montec indestructable and very easy to resharpening them much tougher than muzzy is
Below is a picture of a 145 grain muzzy after it was shot at cast iron. It was shot out of a Parker compound, 2317 aluminums, 32 inch draw. That's what I consider tough.
I have no opinion of montec, never used them.

Here is a picture of another head that was shot under the same conditions. Actually, I have used this type of head very sucessfully on deer in the past and never had a failure. Would definetely consider worthy of deer sized game:
