HELP MY TRYKON IS SLOW
ok heres my dilema. i bought my trykon in march brand new. i bought the 50 to 60 pound model for 2 reasons. one is i was impatient and it would have taken me like a month to get the other one in here. and 2 is i thought 60 lbs would be fine. ok heres the deal. i shot it on the chrono and it was at 225 fps. now i was shooting 350 edge arrows by carbon express so i switched to 250 maxims and now im at 265. there is only a 2 foot difference with the whisker biscuit so i left that on. what else can i do to speed this thing up. my draw is 28 inches plus a dloop. please help

RE: HELP MY TRYKON IS SLOW
yea mine is set maxed out at 60. but i couldnt believe the speed difference i got out of going with a little lighter arrow. i guess i better just leave it alone. i was just hoping to get closer to 280. im going to try the blazer vanes and see what that does. thats the only other thing i can think about doing at this point

RE: HELP MY TRYKON IS SLOW
my new arrows are the 250 maxims with 100 grain tips but i shoot the crimson talons and can only get them in 100 or 90 so i may try to go down to 90 and see if there is much difference there

RE: HELP MY TRYKON IS SLOW
You and I have the same specs , 28"s and 60 lbs , 265 fps is a respectable speed , for ours specs .
Some things you can do to increase speed are
reduce arrow weight
remove rubber from peep [shoot a truepeep or none at all]
use a quality string
increase draw weight , 60 lbs is plenty IMO
make sure your cams are timed properly
