3-49 or 3-60 \ 3" vanes or 4" vanes
I shoot the BK II, 71 lbs, 30" draw, 75 grain tip on my 3-60 ACC's that are currently @ 29.5" long. With my new Bodoodle Pro-Lite rest I can cut my arrows to 27.5", can I & should I go down to the 3-49's?
Also what would be the best fletching for them. I currently have (3) 4" vanes on my 3-60's, was thinking of dropping back to 3"<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>
Good judgment comes from years of bad judgment.

The BKII likes stiff arrows so I'd stick with the 3-60s. If they're shooting good why cut them back? My guess is the FOC won't be as good and you might have to go to a heavier head. Guess I wouldn't recommend a change unless they aren't working.

Ditto to what tm posted, it likes stiff arrows. I spent two weeks posting questions on this forum trying to get my BK II to shoot broadheads well and my arrows were underspined. You will save yourself a lot of headaches with stiffer arrows.

I woudl say stick to the 3-60's & fine tune it by changing tip weight till you find one that yeilds the best groups. My bet is that you will find a heavier head will do this. start at 75 & work up to 125 grain.
