Default Carbon arrow inserts

OK I (the old grey mare) have made the switch to carbon arrows vice 25 years of aluminom. but the one thing I can't figure out is how do you remove the point insert to tune the arrow. I used to use a torch and heat the aluminum till the insert came out but I guess you can't do that with carbon cause they will melt.

The same way you use too, just heat the point. Try not to put alot of heat into the shaft. I will heat about 4 seconds and try to turn the insert out with pliars, if not put some more heat onto the point.
I still use hot melt glue on my carbons, it's muchbetter than epoxy.
