RE: 13.3 foc could it cause problems
I'll take 15% if I can get it. I agree with everything Arthur said. I shoot arrows with high FOC's at 70 yards at fairly slow speeds (low 200 fps range) and don't have any trouble with them. I have never understood the low profile itty bitty fletchings people use, especially when shooting at relitively known distances. I want the most forgiving arrow I can shoot. That means plenty of fletching and generous FOC to me.

One negitive to very high foc , is you arrow flight starts to look like a rainbow , arrow drop is significantly increased at ranges farther than 20 yards , The opposite is true for low focs , but the drawback is unstable arrow flight with fixed heads . A happy medium is what most archers chose , 10 -12 foc , but my sugestion is try it and see what flys best for you , make sure you are spined correctly , that is way more important that foc .;

I don't notice it that much and I shoot pretty long distances sometimes. You get beyond 50 yards and more weight makes a difference, but FOC has not been that big of an issue with me.
