Default Your 3D arrows for the 06' season?

Just curious to see what you guys are planning on shooting this year for 3D arrows. Sunday is my first local outdoor 3D, and I am excited and gearing up for the upcoming season.

For open class stakes, I am shooting a 27.75" GT Pro 22 w/ mini blazers (black ), easton 2115 super uni bushing w/ super g nocks (black ), and 80 grain glue in points. They should end up weighing in around 300 grains and will hopefully be coming out around 295-300fps from the Constitution.

For the HC stakes, I will be shooting my current setup from last year. 27.75" GT Pro 22 w/ 4" vantec's, 65 grain screw ins, and the same nock system as above. They weigh in at 355-356 grains and fly at 309 out of the Allegiance.

For any ASA events I shoot this year, I will probably shoot the HC pro 22's out of the constitution @ 60lbs.......should be around 285-286.

So what are you shooting this year? Can you guys tell I have the foam fever already? [8D]

MBR / Unlimited class:

IBO - GT Pro22's at 28.75 w/ 80gr glue ins, 2.3" Vanetec SS, (2 black 1 white) 4" chrome wraps and white GT pin nocks. 321grs.
These are some pimped out arrows.
303fps from 06' Old Glory (30"/60#)

ASA - GT Pro X-Cutter at 28.75 w/ 90gr glue ins , 2.3" Vanetec SS (2 black 1 white) and ruby GT pin nocks. 350grs
283fps from 05' Old Glory (30"/60#)

For giggles I may set up the Allegiance at 64# and see how the Pro22's look at about 325fps.[:-]

I found none of my 3D Arrows from last season will work with my new bow ..Bummer[:'(]So I havent pinned down the arrows yet.... I am stillin the processon a sponsorship deal with a certain Manufacturer.
But its nice to see others shooting the Vane Tec Vanes... they have done nothing but good for my 3D Scores and Bowhunting

About 4 months ago I heard VaneTec was teaming up with Gold Tip. I heard they were making a goal to build one of the best vanes on the market. With me being new to the archery scene, I don’t know any better because VaneTec is all I have shot from day one. They are slightly heavier and stiffer than the Duravanes; however, due to their stiffness you may be able to decrease vane size and still get the same controllability. So far the vanes have been providing great accuracy for me. Tim G from GT recommended I drop down to the 3 inch SS VaneTec vanes for my set-up, so I’m going to test them out ASAP.

Yes I can tell and I have the same problem. Still waiting for my vanes to show up so I can finish these arrows. At least we found something good to talk about. The forum has been dead/boring recently. This is a good topic to discuss.
