RE: My Tribute has landed!!!!
Post pics when you get it set up.
Shot the Tribute a couple of days ago and I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it. My wife's going to be pi$$ed when I bring it home (or the XT...fine shooting bow too).

im happy you got a great bow. ill bet you dial in around 280 . i have one question for our bowtech guys. i am a bowtech die hard i have loved them since they came out. i have had a black knight and now a patriot. why did bowtech discontinue the patriot? the tribute all be it a great bow is only a couple of inches shorter and is slower than the patriot. i am just disapointed the patriot was dropped. i love mine . its like seeing your favorite running back retired before his time. i shoot 68 lbs and im pushing 319 with my setup for tourneys and 296 on my hunting setup. still congrats on your tribute i bet its gonna be a tack driver.

Gonzo, the patriot was a great bow, but this is why the Tribute pretty much took it's spot.
The Tribute is the same speed. (328 top end @30")
The Tribute is just as stable.(It has a riser about the axact same length)
The Tribute is more manuverable. (It is shorter, but maintains the stabilityas stated above)
The Tribute is a touch quieter.(I think, but it is definately not loader)
The Tribute hasa more efficient cam system. (The binarys)
The Tribute has less shock. (It has more parallel limbs)
The Tribute has a riser that is more adaptable to asseccories. (There is less of a cut out)

gonzo, the Diamond Victory is not a cheap bow by any means. The machining in the riser is a bit less intricate than the Patriot was. It does have bearings in the cam and wheel, 452X strings, pivoting limb pockets, same wood grip. It's prety much last year's Patriot, at a better price.
BC25, congrats on the new Tribute. I may need one in Max4.

Congratulations on the new Tribute!!!
Gonzo.....I know how you feel about the Patriot. I just bought a new '05 Patriot a little over a month ago from my dealer. Wanted it last year, but had to save money for my elk hunt. I could have gone with one of the '06 binary cam models, but liked the feel better. I am not disappointed, am extremely happy with mine.
Having said that, I plan on keeping the Patriot for hunting a few years, but already am planning on buying an '06 Bowtech binary cam bow later on or wait on the '07s. Gonna take on a little extra work this summer.[:'(]
