Marshall- I have a Vital Bow Gear Drop-Away, and I love it! It allows you to walk around the woods and your arrow never leaves the rest, but then when you draw it levels it up perfect.
I have no complaints about it- and would recommend it to any friend. I've never seen the Kaz-Away.

I would reccomend the vital drop.It is the same as the kaz away but with micro adjustment.(atleast that is what I understand from the websight). It also has the 2 arm containment which the ultimate fallaway does not have. Also the original ultimate fallaway has to set up above center of the hole for fletching clearance and the kaz and vital drop can be setup like they are supposed to be,on center with the burger button hole.
I have he original ultimate fallaway from vital bow gear and I love the rest but when time comes to get a new rest,it will be the vital drop.
As far as the ripcord is concerned,I have a friend that bought one because the shop he went to didn't have a vital in stock. He had the ripcord 1 week before it failed to drop and he took it back and ordered a Kazaway and he loves the rest and has had no failures. Not to bash the ripcord,it did look like it was well made but it only took 1 week for it to fail.Maybe he just had a bad one but once bitten.
