Nice bow! I love mine. I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment with the grip. I just ordered a wood grip from a '06 to put on my '05. The bulky rubber grip is my only complaint. I've probably put 2000 shots through this bow and the original string is still in great shape. It's dead in my hand and as you said deadly accurate as long as I do my part. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I need to put mine through a chrono. What do you think it will do with 29" DL at 65# shooting AXISst 340s with 3 2" blazers and 100 gr. feild points? Let me know your guess and I'll let you know the results as soon as I get to the shop. Heck my wife needs to chrono her bow too.

Oh, your not going to mention who took that awesome picture of you holding your bow!!!! Thanks A lot... Russell...

Actually I was very impressed with it too. I was shooting next to Russ, and it sounded extremely quiet and smooth. I also thought they did a good job rigging it out. I didn't shoot it, as I have a grown man draw , and my little buddy didn't offer, so I didn't beg him either ...

ORIGINAL: D.Parsons

What kind of sight is that?
Are the fibers running around the housing?

That is a Tru Glow sight. I never seen that one before.. The pins are very bright with that much fiber optics running around the whole perimeter of of the sight.... Great Idea from Tru Glow... I was impressed with that too.

Nice bow aussie, I shot a Diamond for years and loved that bow. I only changed because it was hard to get parts and service for it. Then they are sold to Bowtech so all of that has changed now. Have fun with it.

My 05 Victory Dual came with the rubber grip and I took that off as well.
I guess i am just used to shooting off the riser as it gives me a better feel for the bow.

I didn't shoot it,and my little buddy didn't offer
Bob.

You know very well that I left the bow down at our range when I went inside to look after Jackson so Tricia could come and do some shooting all you had to do was pick it up and shoot it

if i had photo shop i was going to put paul hogan's head on the edge of that pic
John

And I would have been on the first available flight to NC to lay some serious hurt on a nastygibbybuck

I had a Patriot and am kicking myself for selling it, thats why I decided to go with the Victory it's not as fast as the Patriot but it is a lot smoother on the draw than my Patriot was.
I was thinking about this last night & I bet your new bow is faster than my 04 Patriot which is currently shooting a 405 gr arrow 272fps w/29" draw & 65# pull. (string loop only)

Take offfor draw length & extra poundage & I'd say they are real close with your getting the slighter edge.

I'd love to try mine at 60# to see what it would do, but it won't go down that low.
