Default Why did the Defender last one year?

Going to a bow shop either this evening or tomorrow to shoot a Bowtech Defender, the guy has two of them and will switch out cams to fit my draw. They look like a nice bow and I was thinking of using it for 3D or hunting. My question is I wonder why Bowtech quit making this model after only one year? It looks like it would be great in a treestand.
