Mildot, as you get those muscles conditioned, you should get to shooting with much better form for a longer period.
As for the new bows, I was looking for an 05 leftover to replace my 2003 bowtech stalker. I love the way it draws and shoots but was looking to pick up some speed. I looking for either an 04-05 patriot or an 05 allegiance. I haven'y had a chance to shoot any of the new bows yet and was wondering if the 06's are worth the extra $200 for the new features.

Sorry took so long to reply, I had to fly out to Kansas. In regards to your question, yes I would pay the extra cost for the 2006 BowTech. With the 2005's you are stuck with the cams you buy and down the road if you ever want to change them out you have to purchase new ones and they are not cheap. The 06 you just buythe inexpensive mod for the cam and your good to go. Add that benefit with all the other upgrades to the 06 andyou have money well spent. Now if I already had a 05, I wouldn'tsell it to get a 06, but if starting from scratch, then yes pay the extra and get the 06 BowTech.

Heere's a copy of the post I did on AT on the Tribute speeds I got with the smooth mods, I'm too lazy to think it all up again
I just got in from chroning my 60/29 Tribute with the smooth mods and 430 grain Axis 340's. It went 264 fps for 66.56 foot pounds of K.E. That's pretty darn good energy and speed for such an effortless draw and quiet shot!! I'll maybe shoot the fast mods tomorrow, I'm sure this thread will be around then[/align]
