Well s@#$, I was all set to get one of those presses too. I liked yours over the Ratchet loc because of the location of the pins on the limbs seem to put less stress on them. Oh well, maybe I'll try to make one myself.

WWAG, the Tribute looks sweet. Looks like you're ready to rip already with that bugger.

Sure, you can make one. You might try making one out of some thick marine grade plywood or other strong laminated board. Use 1/2 inch bolts and vinyl tubing for spacers and protective covering. Leave PLENTY of material around the bolts

WWAG, thanks for the tips. I really appreciate that. I have access to some 3/8" thick aluminum flat stock. I figured that would work just fine for this.

You need to get that bow out and shoot it. I would really like to hear how it shoots.

Russ--what's your feeling comparing your 05'Allegiance with the new Tribute?
In otherwords will you favor one over the other and why? Fill us in please!!!
I'm still undecided--new 06'Allegiance or Tribute, unfortunately I've notbeen able to shoot eitherso I rely on people like yourself for the shake-down.
