supermag, I like my darton, but, I've always wanted to try an offset grip bow.
I love the feel of those bows, and i think it might help my accuracy, as
well as not havin to worry about string slap. I guess I'm just ready for change

I wish I could help...but I am not that familiar with the Split fire 36 other than reading about it. The local shop stocks all of the other North American Archery Group bows except for Golden Eagle...I don't know if that is a bad thing or not.

We used to carry Golden Eagle and still carry Darton. All things equal the Darton should run about 15-20 feet faster. Just for the record the Iron Eagle couldnt run 330 if you shot it on the moon let alone where there is gravity. The best we ever got from an honest 30" draw was 308. It was disappointing to say the least.
