i work in a shop and i have more people that do not like there mirages due to noise on the other hand i shoot a Q2XL with a zero effect the day i put it on before it was sighted in i was shooting a 5-spot at20 yards and robinhooded three shafts back to back to back so my vote is MUZZY

I have used both muzzy wins hands down I sold the mirage I still have the muzzy had it for 2 years still in great shape.

If you want to spend $100.00 on a rest the best one I have found is the Golden Premier Fall Away. I have been shooting one and have found it to be easy to setup and maintain. It costs a bit more than the mirage but I think it is a 3D shooters dream and is also a great hunting rest! It also gives you all the function of the trophy taker with more arm choices, micro adjustment, and the option to use it in a locked up position till right before the end of the draw or basically it can also be used in the same fashion as the trophy taker which is in the down position and it picks up the arrow on the draw. It is nice to have such options on a top of the line rest! I have shot the mirage and really like it, it is an awsome hunting rest. Since I have always been a big fan of the Golden Premier rests I naturally liked the Golden Premier Fall Away once I tried it!

I would look at all the rests mentioned and I would choose the one that offers the most features for the best price depending on your needs. Also look at the warranty they have, this can be a big plus.

To sum it up the mirage is a all around work horse hunting rest, in the field it is hard to beat. The Golden Premier Fall Away is the ultimate in adjustability and precise arrow launching. Because of this it may be a bit more geared towards 3-D or target than the Mirage but if your a fan of the Trophy Taker check it out...it gives you a lot more for your money!

I will have to agree with moonage look at the warrenty of all the rests. The ze-rest has a 30 day money back guarentee with it if for any reason you do not like it Muzzy will refund your money back to you, if you keep it(which you probely will) it has a parts list enclosed with it,how convient, if it breaks or tears up Muzzy will replace it.

I would put the emphasis on getting your MONEY back &quot;if for any reason you do not like it...&quot; Of course, I'm sure they would give you other products of equal value, if you so desire; but, they'll let YOU make that decision.

Over 400 of my customers are very happy with the MZE. 98% of them are hard-core hunters and none of them seem to have any complaints. On the contrary, I'm beginning to worry about ever selling them another rest. Many have added the MZE even to their back-up bows. If they weren't that good, would they really spend that kind of money for a back-up bow???

Rob02: Could you please explain how lifting with a spring/string, that can fatique, or a rubber tube, that can deteriorate, as well as a spring, whose tension can vary for return, is better than a shaft that positively lifts and pushes with the interaction of the system?
