Mathews legacy realy liked it when I got it very quiet and sutch but when it came down to fine tuneing it ,I hated the wall valley and could not get it to shoot . I'll throw in trophy ridge also ,I liked the flatliner origanaly nice sight picture but the thing kept moving ,replaced the thumb screws with cap screws same thing . I do love those simms string leaches though . One that beat my expectations was my black knite 2 I was expecting a touchy speed bow and to my suprise its more like a target bow with speed ,I think it is the finest peice of archery equipment I own .

If information provided by the members of this board have helped you please let us know .

I regret shooting redlines for a year, while the whole time I was told they were crap. I then finally woke up and found ACC's which are a godsend.

I will always love my patriot, CBE tek-lite, shrewd 34" stabalizer, and my superstar rest.

Awesome thread..

I'll jump on the Trophy Ridge 'mistake' bandwagon. Sight moved & the pins were dark in a blind.

I'm about at the same position with my Muzzy ZE - I took mine off because I couldn't fix the fletching contact & I couldn't get the arrows to 'tune'. When I got the Patriot & couldn't put on a ZE I tried the Trophy Taker & am quite happy with it (still).

I've learned my lesson about bragging up a widget without shooting it for a month or two!

OK, I'll bite...

How about NOT listening to those in the &quot;know&quot; (like those on this forum) and purchasing over the 'net - as opposed to purchasing from the local pro shop? Bought my bow over the 'net to save a few bucks, and wound up with a bow that shoots great, but only after a lot of add-ons. Also weighs a TON! Oh well!<img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>

Phil,

Well, the screws stripped out, things got loose, the pin gives a big &quot;halo&quot;...a few things. with some refinements I wouldn't have any reservation about reccomending it.

I do also have to emntion the Stealth stabilizer. NOT that is's a bad product..far from it...but after further testing my Sorbotek's still work noticeably better on just about everything I've tried..bad thing is that the Sorbotek's are no longer made...ask Pat (Bowtechshooter) I sent him one, and he thought it wasd the best thing he's used yet too.

Well, I'm sure everyone already knows my trials and tribulations over the past couple months, but I'll put it to rest right here.

Toxonics Sniper Pendulum sight. First one, the pendulum didn't even swing, but it was quiet. Second one they sent me, penulum swung like a monkey in a tree, but it also chattered like one also. They sent me another one and it was identical, noisey. I was very disapointed.

Next, the Muzzy Zero Effect on my bow. Now, please dont get me wrong, its a great rest and with many, many successfull followers. I just couldn't see a 100 dollar rest, made of mostly all plastic taking so long to fine tune and having to fiddle with it to get it to work right on some bows. BUT, I would still recommend this rest to anyone who doesn't shoot a TEC bow, it just seems to be troublesome to get to work just right on those bows.

I have chosen wisely the second time, and am very happy with my setup and ready to take it to the woods with full confidence.

Good luck to all this season, and be safe.

I've been pretty lucky and haven't had to many problems. One thing I wished I hadn't bought was a no peep. It was almost impossible to setup by yourself and I could never really get used to it.

Good thread. I've thought about just what c903 stated many times but was reluctant to put it in writing. Being a PRO Shop owner puts me in a little different light.

That being said, I'll mention a couple of products with which I found problems and which problems have been accepted by most:

1) One cam bow uneven and unlevel nock travel - I got crucified when I first mentioned this problem several years ago.

2) One cam timing problems - again, I got crucified. Have you noticed that more manufacturers are marking their one cam bows for timing.

3) Holographic sights - it's not the sight but the mounting hardware. Their original mount was horrible. The HHA is better but still has major problems.

4) No-Peep - great product but I had problems with the mounting and adjustment capabilities. I heard that they have a new mounting designed. I'll have to check it out.

5) Wrapped carbon arrows (in general) - I think I was one of the first to experience cracking at the nock end. I have since been quite vocal about their straightness and durability.

6) Dead Nuts Pro sight - I liked the sight but found the pins to be fragile for the way I throw my equipment around. Many of my customers now agree with me. The other problem we had was that the slots/lands for pin adjustments collapsed after extensive adjustments.

7) Trophy Ridge sight - vibrates loose too quickly and the pins are somewhat fragile and hard to replace.

That's enough for now. I've probably upset enough of those who have paid their hard-earned money for these products. Like stated, many of the people, who post on here about how great a product may be, really can't to do a complete analysis based on extensive input.
