I just put new limbs on my Merlin Lite storm and got some new Carbon Express 300's to go with them. The arrows are 28.5" with a measured weight of 382grains. That's with a 125 grain field tip which gives me an FOC of 14%. I cant go to a 100grain tip because that would put me under 5 grains per pound of draw.
With an FOC of 14% am I losing speed at range? My arrows seem to drop more at 30 yards and beyond than they did before even though I'm shooting faster FPS wize with the new limbs. My previous arrow setup had an FOC of 9%.
Setup details: Merlin Lite storm, 73lbs, 28inch draw, NAP dropaway rest, paper tuned bullet holes.
thanks in advance

No I hadnt. Glad you did. Great idea. I like to have the limbs bottomed out but with Merlin's double locking limb pockets I guess it's not all that important.
thanks again
